Professional Development Coaching

The foundation of my coaching approach is Timothy Gallwey's famous Inner Game equation:

Performance = potential - interference

So, given all your potential, what 'interference' is holding you back from achieving your goals? It might be:

  • Challenging team and organisational dynamics
  • Habits and ways of working that no longer serve you well
  • Not recognising the opportunity to apply the strengths, resources and experience you already have, in new situations
  • Strategies that worked for you in the past, but are now a hindrance.

In our coaching conversations I'll use thoughtful questions to help you to gain new perspectives and insights, generate options for dealing with 'interference' in your world, and move towards your goals. I will challenge respectfully, when needed, to understand whether particular assumptions, mindsets or patterns of behaviour are stopping you getting to where you want to go.

We will create the space and time to pause the 'busyness', reflect, and gain clarity and focus on what you want to achieve. You will leave with clearly defined actions, as well as a sense of optimism and confidence.

I would highly recommend Penny Oxford for any business that needs to engage a consultant who truly understands the meaning of organisational development. I worked with Penny as she led a team through time of significant change and did so with vision, clarity and grace. The team achieved an enormous amount under Penny’s leadership and guidance.
